Welcome to the First Egyptian Virtual Conference on Critical Care Medicine, 25 July, 2008, organized by the Egyptian Society of Intensive Care Medicine & Trauma (ESICT)

Welcome Address:
The Egyptian Society of Intensive Care Medicine & Trauma (ESICT) is proud to be the host organizer of the First Egyptian Virtual Conference on Critical Care Medicine.

My gratitude is due to our eminent virtual faculty who participated in this conference. I would to thank our guest faculty: Dr. Papadakos from University of Rochester, USA and Dr. Luca Bigatello from Harvard University, USA. Also to thank my Egyptian colleagues: Dr. Medhat Soliman, Dr. Basel Nour Eldin, Dr.Alaa Koraa , Dr.Hanna ElGindy and Dr. Ashraf ElMasry.
And finally, I would like to express my appreciation to Dr.Mahmoud Abbas who was instrumental in organizing this event.

It is my sincere wish that this effort is full of education and insight.
